The popular resort of Cape Coral is located on the Gulf of Mexico on the west coast of the Sunshine State and is separated by the Caloosahatchee River from the city of Fort Myers. The extraordinary network of waterways and canals gave Cape Coral the nickname „The Venice of Florida“.
