The wonderful weather makes Florida such a popular destination. Especially nice is the weather in the winter between November and April when the sun is shining for up to seven hours. The sunniest month, however, is in September, which can produce up to 15 hours of sunshine a day and with 88 degrees F. is also very warm. In summer there may be storms and rain that can be short but violent. At night the temperature usually drops only slightly. Larger drops in temperature are only occasionally observed during the winter months.
The water temperatures in Florida will be around 77 degrees to 88 degrees F – ideal for swimmers and divers.
